Whether you’re brand new to Colorado travel, a returning mountain lover, or a Front Range local craving fresh air for the weekend, this home is a relaxed and welcoming basecamp for everything the Rockies have to offer.
The layout is one of the things guests love most. The main level features an open great room with a large L-shaped sofa and flat-screen TV with a gas fireplace, board games, a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, and there is no dining table but bar-style chairs positioned at the kitchen island, a half bath, and one of the bedrooms, making it especially convenient for anyone who prefers fewer stairs. Windows frame peaceful views of Georgetown Lake and the surrounding mountains, so even a quiet morning coffee or a cozy night in feels special.
(There is construction occurring in the backyard through roughly November 2026, and it is currently off-limits for your safety.)
Upstairs, you’ll find the primary bedroom with a king bed and a private ensuite bath featuring a walk-in shower and dual sinks. The second upstairs bedroom features a queen bed, a workspace with a desk and chair, and offers easy access to a full bathroom, as well as a washer and dryer. Altogether, the home features three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and ample space for families or groups to spread out and relax.
Step outside and you’re right beside a section of Georgetown Lake and its walking trail - perfect for morning strolls, sunset views, or wildlife spotting (keep an eye out for the town’s famous bighorn sheep). Guests also have access to a detached 1-car garage, as well as a shared indoor pool and hot tub located within the Wyndham Microtel in the complex, just a short walk or quick drive away. (There is only 1 parking space available in the garage due to construction materials.)
The location puts you in the sweet spot between Denver and the high country. You’re less than 1.5 miles from historic downtown Georgetown, and within easy reach of Loveland Ski Area, Arapahoe Basin, and Keystone. Explore local history on the Georgetown Loop Railroad, take a scenic drive over Guanella Pass in summer or fall to watch the leaves change, or head to Idaho Springs and Evergreen for dining, shops, galleries, and more. Whether you’re here to ski, hike, unplug, or simply soak in the views, this lakefront townhome makes it easy to enjoy Colorado at its best.
Wintertime in Colorado brings many opportunities for play and adventure, as well as seasonal hazards that require consideration. AWD or 4WD capable vehicles are required from November - April for all guests. Please plan your travel accordingly.
