Positive:
Great location - we went to a concert at the Dillon Amphitheater and the next day had a beautiful bike ride leaving right from the house

The home is spacious and conveniently located however there were issues with the central AC that were not immediately addressed and therefore led to a less than comfortable stay due to the high temperatures in the bedrooms. We also had an issue with the water supply which caused us delays in our plans for the day. The basement also has an unpleasant smell that seemed to get stronger over the course of our stay. Overall the home served its purpose but wish we could have avoided some of the issues or have them be addressed more immediately. (It took 3 days into our 4 day stay for them to come fix the air conditioning.)

Great, simple, safe place to stay! Parking was a little tough, but besides that it was a great experience!

Great stay. Great location. Easy access to food and highways. Parking was a bit of a pain. Nice clean loft and great views of the mountains. Rooftop was also fun.

My group of 4 adults had a great stay with plenty of space. The apartment was clean and had many of the basic amenities. Old Towne Arvada is a very cute area with many shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. You can also walk to the train station (2 minutes) and take it to downtown Denver in 25 minutes. We also did a concert at Red Rocks which was only a 20 minute drive, so the location all around is advantageous. Check in/check out instructions were well communicated. I would highly recommend this space if you are exploring Denver and the surrounding areas.

Old house lover's dream. From the woodwork to the pocket doors to the built-ins to the old-timey bathroom, I absolutely loved the character of this house. John was very communictive when I had questions and we loved being so close to everything on Colfax. We did come during a bit of a heat wave and the old house inefficiencies were definitely on display: the basement stayed super cold, the 1st and 2nd floors were warm, and the upstairs living space was definitely too hot for sleeping, something to keep in mind if you're planning to use the top floor of the house in the summer. We didn't need it, but if we had, it would have been uncomfortable. Also, we were fine with a smaller group of six, but for a house that sleeps 12, it's a little thin on bathrooms, and the kitchen could be larger. The refridgerator and diswasher were more sized for an apartment rather than for a large gathering kind of place. That said, we were very comfortable in John's place and enjoyed our time there.

Fantastic location! We loved that while close to everything, it was still very peaceful.

I was very charmed by this safe spot just a stone’s throw away from downtown. Easy to access and all we needed for a nice weekend getaway. The bed was extremely comfortable!

A beautiful home located high up in Evergreen with expansive views from the deck and living room. It is pretty far from civilization, however, making it inconvenient if you want to do much. It’s 15 minutes to even get to town. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, please know there are barking dogs that invade the solitude that would otherwise be terrific. The home is nice and spacious. It feels like an old cabin that has been given a mild facelift - old cabinet faces and such are visible once you’re there. But, the home is functional and peaceful, and the deck is a lovely place to relax when the dogs aren’t out. The kitchen is stocked with many spices (great), but lacking other items that you’d expect for the price — like sugar, salt, and pepper.

We staying in this Airbnb until our house was ready to move in. It had plenty of space for 5 of us, 2 adults & 3 kids!

Absolutely a beautiful space!!!! Convince to several restaurants and museums. My son and I were very comfortable with the location. We accidentally left our car doors unlocked with the keys and his wallet and no one bothered a thing. Safest area in our opinion
