Alex's place was mostly as described. The main issue we had was that it does not have central air, the weather was quite warm while we were there, and the window units had a hard time keeping up.

The location is great. Very convenient to downtown Denver and there's a great walking trail around the lake that's very close by.

Other than the AC issue it was a good stay. Alex was a responsive host.

Alex was very responsive.
The description of the place is pretty accurate.
We loved the location, we went by car and in 10 or 20 minutes you are in the mountains and in 10 minutes you are in the city and you have the Sloan lake close by to have dinner and so,

This house looks great but the stay was not worth the $3,200. Listing says free parking but it is a nightmare with only 2-hour limits, so you’re constantly moving your car or paying.

At check-in, cleaners were still inside, and then the door code didn’t work because it hadn’t been updated.

The house really is beautiful and very large and the bed (at least in the master) was very comfortable.

The shower/sauna setup burned my leg because there are no instructions or warnings. Heating and cooling are messed up, no AC in the main living space, and the heat blasts randomly in the middle of the night, waking you up sweating.

Outside felt unsafe: broken glass on the sidewalk, people screaming and fighting at 2 a.m., one possibly being beaten.

The host was polite and quick to respond, but issues weren’t actually resolved. For the price, this should have been a smooth, safe, and comfortable stay. Should have been a WAY better experience. It wasn’t. I wouldn’t book again.

The apartment was even more spacious than I anticipated. The beds were comfy, kitchen was clean, and there were plenty of towels. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to walk to coffee, food, and/or drinks. We also woke up and took a perfect 3 mile walk around the lake one morning. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at this newer property in Fraser river valley. Stunning views. Really comfortable beds. Great hot tub!

This house was definitely not as luxurious and nice as it comes off. The AC was very janky and would be about 10 degrees higher than it should be at all times. Also 2 bedrooms didn’t have AC and the power went out in both of those rooms so we couldn’t use any fans or standing AC units while it was 115 degrees outside. When these problems were brought to the hosts attention, they just responded saying they’ll “let maintenance know” but nobody ever came to fix anything. Sheets looked clean but the couches and walls, floors, and ceilings look like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. Overall we had to make people sleep in the living room and other places due to these constant issues with the house. Leaving was its own issue as they were repaving the entire street and our cars were blocked in at check out time. We had to beg the workers to let us out because the host had no idea of the construction. Even with all the issues, the host gave no compensation or even seem to care at all.

We loved out stay here. We had a group of 6 and there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for us. The main hang out area was great for us. We loved the little deck overlooking the city. The place is beautiful and decorated well and was a very comfortable stay.

We were in Denver to go to Red Rocks and we walked from the airbnb to get the shuttle at Union Station. It was perfect.

Overall, a good stay. Location wasn’t exactly where it suggests prior to booking and neighborhood wasn’t super walkable. House was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Rooftop patio was nice.

Lots of space as pictured and was a great home base to explore Colorado! The kitchen was a highlight to gather, hydrate during the heat wave with crushed ice and water from the fridge (small pleasures), and the main bed was super comfy to crash after a long day of exploring. The multi-levels weren’t a problem for us but we don’t have mobility challenges and the double sinks with large vanity made sharing the one bathroom easier. We didn’t spend much time in the yard because we were off exploring yet the flower adorned path to the house and easy street parking made coming “home” peaceful. The location was great for local needs and travel trips. Denver proper was a quick 15 minute car ride, Boulder 35 mins, the airport 35 mins, Colorado Springs 1.5 hours, Royal Gorge 2.5 hours, Estes Park/Rocky Mountains 1.5 hours. CVS, Starbucks, local coffee, and Sprouts grocery were walkable and we did. Tennyson St food was great and close by. Overall a great trip!

We Left Early – That Says It All

Positive:
I'm giving this a 2 because of the location and the bones of the place are nice. The instructions to find it, park, and access it were very good. The location was good, just a 5-10 minute walk into town, and the structure of the condo was what you would expect in Breck close to town. It was very easy to use the code to access it, and that made it easy for us to come and go separately. We booked the place two months in advance, and the day we were to go, we noticed that there was a very bad review posted on booking.com. I called management who assured us the cleaning would be done, and the place was very clean except for the peeling paint from the chairs on the top balcony, which had fallen through to the lower balcony. It was very clean, and with some effort, this could be a nice condo, but it's not right now.

Negative:
The effort put in by the hosts to make the place comfortable is non-existent. The place is wired for before cell phones, with no amenities for them, so you have to bring your own and hope the plugs work. The beds are fine, but there are no bedside tables in either large bedroom and many of the outlets don't work or are so loose that plugs fell out. What is there is very basic, definitely the least effort I've seen from a host in Breck, and we've rented there more than a dozen times. Our toaster didn't work, so I reached out to management. They were responsive, but sent a new toaster from Target that cost $12.99. The receipt was in the bag! That pretty much sums up the host's effort here. There was NO comfortable place to sit in the living room, dining area, any of the bedrooms or on any of the three balcony locations. The chairs were miserable and the couch was very low and a rock. Our teenage kids didn't even want to sit at the table because the chairs and benches were incredibly uncomfortable, and there was no way to watch TV as it was high above the mantle with an incredibly low and uncomfortable couch. So much for family time. The chairs on all three balconies need to be replaced, we couldn't sit on any of them. The only comfortable place was in the beds. I left 2 days early because I couldn't find anywhere comfortable to be, and it was very distressing as this was our only family holiday this summer. I want to tell you this can be fixed, but there will need to be serious effort and investment to make this rental worth it. Get new pics and guarantees before you book, we wasted our money.

A great little place to work and stay in Denver.
