Great location, easy access, and quality products appreciated. Street parking was OK - no real issues apart from having to park a block or two away occasionally.

Beautiful house! Stayed there with work colleagues for a conference and worked out really well. Some opted for a long but pleasant walk to the convention center and I took advantage of the easy bus line (15 or 15L). Very nicely decorated place and well stocked kitchen with all cooking items available. The backyard was glorious. Would stay there again!

Positive:
The location is impeccable. The Sloans Lake is a wonderful place for a morning run/walk. You are not far from the downtown (10 mins/car, 30mins/bus, 50mins/walk).
The apartment was clean, neat, and tidy. The host has provided some extra coffee and tea, which I loved and enjoyed. Cleaning utilities (no washing machine) and extra board games are available.
It just needs to be stated that the apartment is on the basement level. I did not know this at the time of booking the place.

This is a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for a home base during a busy and stressful week of work. The house is comfortable and well-equipped. We had a little trouble with the check-in process; I think it could be made more customer-friendly. Overall, a very nice haven when we needed it.

The home itself was spotless and beautifully furnished—truly a lovely space to stay in. However, there are a few things worth noting. The duplex is located directly next to a very noisy apartment complex, with loud music playing at all hours of the day and night.

Additionally, the check-in time is 4:00 PM, which is later than all of the BnBs I've experienced. When I reached out to ask about arriving around 2:00 PM, I was told early check-in was possible—but only for a $30 fee. This kind of nickel-and-diming feels more like a corporate policy than a personal touch, and it's part of why Airbnb has started to lose the charm it once had.

Even the lock code was set to activate exactly at 4:00 PM. I arrived at 3:57 PM and thought the lock might be broken—it wouldn’t open until the clock hit 4:00 PM on the dot. It all felt rigid and impersonal, which a bit exploitative from an otherwise lovely property.
